The Colles Modular Homes Process
Planning
After our first contact we will make any minor changes to the plan that you choose from our custom designed plans, we can then provide you with a price including standard features to the home, delivered to the site you have provided us with.
Alternatively if you have your own design we can give you a price including standard features to the home, delivered to the site you have provided us with.
Site Visit
Colles Modular Homes will visit the site to assess the site conditions.
If planning approval is needed we can assist you with information needed by your local council to apply and get the project approved. We have draftsmen and architects that we work with to assist with this.
Inclusions & Pricing
Once the above steps are completed we will sit down with you and go through all the exterior and interior product and colour selections at our factory at Wyong North.
When all the selections are finished will will provide you with a fixed price (excluding changes made throughout the construction process).
Contract
Once satisfied with our proposal we will get you sign contracts and the process can start, a time frame of 12-16 weeks (weather permitting) is the estimated time till handover from this point.
If your home is going into a home village you may sign contracts with the village itself but will still be able to deal direct with us regarding your home.
Electrical Fittings
Colles Modular Homes will keep in contact and keep you updated on the building process and you are welcome to come and look at the progress of your home.
Just before the electrician comes to wire power points and lights for your home we will organise with you to come in and choose where you would like all your power points, we hope this gives a little peace of mind to know that you have the power points and lights in the position that suits you.
1-2 Weeks Prior to Delivery
About 1-2 weeks prior to delivery we will attend your site and dig footings and lay piers for your home.
We will let you know a day of delivery when we finalise this and you are more than welcome to come and watch your home get placed in position (don't forget your camera).
Building Completion
Once your Colles Modular Home is delivered we will get all relevant contractors in to do the final touches to your home.
If an occupational certificate is required we will organise council inspections to obtain this.
Lastly we organize a final walk through then hand over your keys so you can enjoy your quality new Colles Modular Home.
